FSX native DH Chipmunk on the way?.....

Some kind of British turboprop, according to Mr Piper himself. Now that must narrow it doen a bit........yes Calypsos, your days are numbered! Any last requests?

A Jetstream T1/T2 perhaps? I know the civilian versions have been done, but I can't remember any RAF ones off the top of my head.

What about a Scottish Aviation Bulldog or Pioneer
I don't think there were any turbo versions though

.....................in one version it does share the scheme of the Chipmunk above....whoops I have said to much and will have to kill myself:engel016:

The only RAF turboprops I can think of that ever wore the red/white scheme were the Tucano and the Jetstream, unless I'm missing something.

Old thread I know and Rick has been busy with the Jetstream but has there been any progress on the FSX native Chippy?

HS Andover? I doubt it though, there was never a dedicated Trainer variant to warrant the same markings as the Chippy.

Edit: Darn it... I really should read the entitre thread before posting... Sorry Gents.

There isn't a native FSX Andover. Rick's Chipmunk V3, whilst a fantastic freeware addon, is still a portover. It performs brilliantly in FSX Acceleration but suffers the usual portover issues of clouds before prop etc. :)
