FSX Native F-4 released!

Hmmmmmmmmm..
Zohh,, You Vhant a J zzzeventy nine engine do you???
:::LOL:: let me get my new mobo in later today and talk with dave about it.. perhaps we can do something just for you guys :D.. no promises but i'll do my very best.. Sides, the f-4 in the pic i posted earlier is the Iris FG-1 naval version.. doesnt have the box on the tail, annnd i'd enjoy the challenge of making an f-4 that really could do a back flip

If you want the RWR pod on the tail (fitted to Royal Navy F-4s post 1976) you need to use one of the models from the RAF FG.1 pack - making sure that the one you choose isn't one with the recce pod fitted, as the RN never used them. I'd use the "B"-fit, personally.

thanks dave.. truth told though, i'm just a number cruncher. dont know a thing about the model itself, only the fde, but i'll give the very best of my efforts..

Here's the AS F-4J after a bit of porting:

Welll, just to be fair to th gentleman above, these fs9 f-4s work quite well in fsx. Naturally glass textures need to have their alpha channels reversed and the default view in the panel.cfg file needs to be adjusted, but, they look and fly great.. Here's a couple examples of ported f-4s from my own version of fsx. again, this is windows 7, dx-10 is not being used. scenery settings are well, they arent low..
Firts up, the Iris FGR-2 navy version with my own paint representing one of the aircraft that was stationed at my base in vietnam..

GRWEAT Steve Ritchie repaint!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But the VC?

Just curious why you would port when you have your scenery settings that low anyways? Why not just use it in FS9? :kilroy:

Simple. I want your attention on the aircraft, not the scenery.
