FSX native freeware Cessna 310Q released!

...who had come to visit us at Compute! Magazine and show us Flight Assignment: ATP.

ATP?! Gosh that takes me back, I had it on 5¼" floppies iirc: nearly as distant a memory as MS-DOS 4.0 :icon_eek:

Thanks for the 310Q, Rob! Very tidy!! :applause:

Thanks Rob for the 310Q. I flew one a long time ago when I knew very little about flying in the weather. It taught me a lot.

And thanks Peter for all the great paints.

cheers,
steve :wavey:

Fine looking plane and paints. Have always thought this was the sexiest twin - seeing them IRL as a kid - and I still fly in FSX my very first payware plane, the Flight1 Cessna 310L. Have the Milviz 310 but the appearance with the long snoot ruins the aesthetics for me.

Here is a very retro paint scheme someone might try that just exudes late 50's early 60's:

Oh yes! Someone please do that repaint.

Here's a shot of Rob's 310Q in the sim.....wonderful bird and it flies great! Thank you for the gift,I've loved the 310's since I was a wee lad watching "Sky King" on Saturday morning TV back in the 1950's!

You mean like these! I'll get them packaged up asap. Right now I've got to help my son move into his new apt.

We're these two paints ever uploaded??
Apparently not. I did a search for "mikew" in our downloads section and got two pages but the 310 wasn't in that group. I also checked Avsim and Flightsim.com, nothing there either. Too bad, those are really nice looking skins.

Does anyone know how to contact "mikew"? I PM'ed him but haven't gotten a reply and I'd like to track down the two liveries he posted pics of in this thread, as would several others. As mentioned, I have looked through SOH Downloads section and didn't locate them, also checked flightsim.com and Avsim to no avail. Any help in locating the liveries or getting in contact with Mike to see if he ever posted them would be appreciated.

Yeah... I'm here! I had some computer issues a while back and ended up building a new box. These paints are on a flash drive somewhere. I'll see if I can find them and package them up. Sorry for not uploading when I first did them but attention got focused elsewhere! Thanks for the comments and interest!

Wonderful Mike. Thanks for replying! Looking forward to doing some "Sky King" adventures, lol.

Ed you are a star to be so persevering - and Mike thanks for uploading these great paints. Do some more!

Am definitely looking forward to the Sky King paints, Mike. One of my favorite shows from my youth. Thank You for doing them and sharing them. :applause:
