FSX night Vision Now Available

Wow this is just.....WOW. This honestly is the best thing I have ever seen created for FS. I mean you did it. You made night vision. And its so easy to use.:medals: Awards gentleman.

Thank Boris

I just learned from him how to make it do what it does.

There is so many things you can do with this little thing. Made originally for Grand Theft Auto 4. with a effect.txt and some HLSL coding you can run edge detection algorithms or any effect you want. That is why I am looking for someone with hlsl working knowledge to do some amazing things.

HLSL: if you don't know what it is, you don't know it.

Just upgraded to FSX from FS9. Uploaded the NVG kit to it but come to press Shift F12 nothing happens. Could it be something to do with windows 7, as I've had dramas with other pieces of FSX due to Win 7. Also my keyboard button has a shared function for the F12 button, which is written in blue (corresponding with the 'Fn' button), however I've tried pressing Shift F12 with the Fn button applied and un applied, but this hasn't worked. Any Ideas?

Done that, no effect change. Any ideas if the configuration file ' enb settings' and the Bitmap image 'enb pallette' and the file 'd3d9.dll' need to be located anywhere within any of the FSX folders, as these are housed in the folder i store all my Flight Sim files in prior to extracting/loading them, and isn't in FSX.
Cheers

I believe that this effect, just like the bloom effect, would work only with DirectX9 ?

it is available with dx10, the windows file contains the d3d10.dll file and needs to be put into the fsx file to work with it. You can also find it on the world wide web.

ENjoyz... I also have updated the file with a new gauge package that makes a "NV-Tube" so you have limited Depth and vision. Some Military guys were asking for it.

As of now the flightsimnation forums are limited registration and hot linking to our FTP is not really wanted so the file name and structure will be changing soon.

I would upload it here, but the d/l up/l is down, so look for it at flightsim.com and/or simviation.

Those two files have to be located into the FSX root folder or they will not work.
Cheers Dimus.
Is there a specific folder they need to be applied to ie 'textures' or 'effects' etc, or is it just in the folder for FSX in Microsoft Games?
Cheers

its just fsx microsoft games, it all goes in there.

Well it should have, but Boris is being un-coperative so no tech support on that one. IT was working with another game so what ever. sorry that it does NOT work for YOU.
