FSX on a laptop?

Hi Guys. Here is what I have:

Cyberpower Fangbook HX7-100 17"
Intel i7-4700MQ
nVidia GTX 770M
G.Skil 1600 RAM 8GB
Win 7 Home, 64 bit

Those are the basics and I'm thinking about moving to FSX. I just got FS9 running with my entire collection of stuff transferred from two HDDs from my old rig. FS9, of course, runs better than on my old rig, but I'm wondering how FSX will work. Rather than buying goodies FS9 that I've missed over the last 2+ years, I thinking I may upgrade to FSX stuff. BUT, I was good to very good "visuals" and decent FPS (perhaps 20 or better).

Any and all advice, opinions, etc are sought and welcomed.

Bob

I ran FSX on a laptop for years, on a much lesser-spec'd machine than that.

You shouldn't have any issues.

That's good to know so I think I'll proceed slowly as, IIRC, I found the learning curve, that is the differences, more than I was motivated to try. I've only had FSX since it first came out so I'm way behind the power curve. I'll be building a new desktop later this year and it WILL handle FSX, so now is the best time to dip my toe in the water.
