Hi Folks

The latest detailed expansion to the worldwide-coverage sets of 'Visit Series' rewards.
This will probably be the last release for 2008.

I've included a coverage map
to indicate which countries currently have multiple rewards, (green).
All other countries have single rewards, (white or yellow).

comprising 100 earnable Free-Flight landing's rewards for -
- Brazil, (28 rewards)
- Egypt, (22 rewards)
- Eire/Ireland, (20 rewards)
- People's Republic of China, (30 rewards)

Please ensure you remove the equivalent country's DEFAULT_BASIC files.



Plus -
The accidentally missing DEFAULT_BASIC files for -
- Malta, (1 reward)
- Mexico, (1 reward)

A replacement corrected file for -
- Iceland, - REWARD_CONTENTS.txt information file only.

Installing

To ensure all updates/corrections are applied
you must install the packages in the following order -
Visit Series - Countries - COLLECTION - STARTER PACK - PART 1 (20080820)
Visit Series - Countries - COLLECTION - STARTER PACK - PART 2 (20080826)

Next, in numerical order, apply the various -
Visit Series - Countries - COLLECTION - UPDATES - PACK NUMBER (YYYYMMDD)

Then install this package -
Visit Series - Countries - COLLECTION - UPDATES - PACK 11 (20100207)

Once you've completed installing all the packages -
Please ensure you remove any country's superceded DEFAULT_BASIC files.

i collect flags too. i don't really understand what they mean to install the updates.

it looks like alot but they are all small numbers of airports to get the reward.
 
nice work, i'm working on a set of Rewards for flying in my neck of the woods... Greece, should be done shortly... trying to get it so it's a nice trip AND hour dependant so ya can't just slew there and claim it :icon_lol:

The initial series were all 1 reward per country.
i.e.
For landing at all the airports in a country.
Those reward files are all suffixed _DEFAULT_BASIC.



The updates are an enhancement,
which grants multiple rewards per country.
i.e.
For landing at all the airports in EACH state/province/region.
Plus 1 reward for landing at ALL the airports in that country.
Those reward files are all suffixed _DEFAULT_MASTER.

Does your pack cover all of Greece ?

I already have a Greece _DEFAULT_MASTER set for in production.
Just need to finish converting the images.

the whole of greece yeah including Greek Makedonia, still a fair bit to do, feel free to get yours out there first, doing an 'Airfields Tour' and 'AB Tour' will provide a rough familiarisation with Greece :jump: Best Country globally in my Opinion, then again i was born there :icon_lol:
 
ok, so i clicked on the first "default basic" file i see and it says 2008.

so i need to download both of the files listed in the above post, and then delete all the files that say "default basic" for every country? is that right?
sorry, i don't mean to be so dense but i want to make sure i do it right.

Which packages had you installed to date ?

You can check as they each have an uninstaller in FSX root folder.
e.g.
UNINSTALL_FSX_Rewards_Visit_Series_Countries_Collection_Update_Pack_3.exe


Easiest way is to -

First install all the packages you hadn't already.

Then ONLY delete those _DEFAULT_BASIC
for counties which have a matching _DEFAULT_MASTER reward.



No worries.
