• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

I´ve just finished my last exam for this semester today and after having 3 highly stressful weeks, it was a joy to take the good old 'Stang out of the Hangar and give it a nice spin! Actually, I came to the conclusion that I like my FS pretty much the way it is and looks now. Could have a little higher performance here and there, but I liked the ambiente. That´s about what I thought when I took that 5th shot. (Okay, I just saw that compression took a lot of that ambiente...!)

And I´d like to thank Jan Kees for this repaint! Hope you don´t mind me adding a little shine to it. Even with the other tail number than Peter Teichmanns replica, it comes really close now! I just kind of like flying the birds I´ve seen and admired in real life!

Oh, and another thing, this is Aerosofts GA11, Landshut in southern Germany, but it also features the whole Open VFR set, including terrain, objects and buildings. I got those recently for Germany, and despite the Buildings part being a memory hog, I really like it! If you want, I can take some screens of that, too!
