• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Amazing detail in your texture work, Ted!

Here are a couple of images that I liked which I took while out on a scenic flight this evening, in 'The Brat'.

And another flight, around the same area, this time with the Flight Replicas 'Boomergang'. Note that it is parked at Fantasy of Flight in the last shot - Kermit Weeks has an un-restored Boomerang in storage at FOF awaiting future restoration to airworthy.

some of the best flying scenes ive ever seen

Thanks Zsolt. I'd like to know if it looks ready to go, such as with the blue paint on the nose - hopefully it is a good match with the restoration (always a bit tricky for me to settle on - this is the fourth rendition of the blue since I started on the repaint (blues seem to vary the most, from one display to another)). If nothing needs changing, I'll get it uploaded this evening.

Sounds good!
Thank you!

John... your Mustangs are just stunning!!! Every time I see one of your 'stangs, I grab my "C" model and fly formation with the Howard! ;)
