Bombs in close formation?

Dave

TSR2

Dave ,

A rather nice aircraft .
I presume that is the Alphasim TSR2 ,

- Where did you get the FSX compatible panel ?

- How do you command the bomb bay doors to open ?

Cheers
Karol
PS; I've always wanted a Gunship grey repaint for it .

The aircraft is the Virtavia-branded version for FS9, and it ports into FSX without issue - other than those for contrail display, etc.
The panel seems entirely FSX(ACC)-compatible, and there's a switch in the VC to open the bomb bay doors.

There are five repaint packs right here in the library, mostly "what-if", as you'd expect.
Jafo's doing a new panel for her.

Some glider practice before stepping into the real deal:

Off we go!:

Made it up to 33,000 feet and safely back to earth on the first flight!

Jafo ,

I have the following book on the TSR 2 ;

TSR2
Britain's Lost Bomber
Author: Damien Burke
Publisher: The Crowood Press Ltd
ISBN 978 1 84797 211 8
Date: 2010
350 pages

A great resource book , lots of photos , diagrams , system details - radar- HUD etc ,
cockpit shots and instrument shots , sub panel detail/shots .
It is a technical detail book , Crowood tend to do very nice comprehensive detail come technical aircraft books.
That's a nice change from "Picture Books" or coffee table books .
I do like the picture books as well , but I'm always hungry for books with heavy and deep tech information and detail.

At the moment my TSR2 simply has some of my F-111 panel instruments dropped into it , not very satisfactory ,
while my radar is as good as you will get in FS , it is square with MFD style bezel buttons , the TSR2 is round ,
generally my instruments are Digital , the TSR2 being analogue.

I do not have their TSR2 Flight manual , however I did purchase a CD from them on the F-111 , the F-111 disc
included 9 Flight manuals for the various F-111 models , I printed out the F-111G manual it ran to 645 pages ,
had it bound into 2 volumes and use it as a idea basis to create instruments for my panel.

The above two resources will provide all the info that you will ever require.

Best of luck with your panel.

Cheers
Karol
