It's a livery in-progress by one of our members here - "hae5904". He's working on some additional fixes, and I presume that he'll upload it for the wider community upon completion.
Also, Dave, I recently discovered that yellow RAF livery I posted earlier, and apparently you were the author if I'm not mistaken. It looks great, and I am getting much out of it, so thanks! :)

Cheers Sean.. nice to see it getting some air time;) I also did an RN green scheme that I don't care for much and an RN grey that similarly gets little use. The RAF SAR scheme suits it very well and this is my fave too;) Pain with the PK is that I can't open it in Elements.. not all the maps anyway so I have to use PS CS2 which is like tying laces with mittens on:dizzy:

Despite it's faults.. its a lovely model though. Did they ever get the tail wheel to castor??

Personal ride of mine. Now if I can just figure out why my painted cowl flaps are showing on the wrong side of the cowling.
On the texture they are where they need to be....:dizzy:

Love the side letters Joe!:biggrin-new: Nice work on this and the Coastal Command paint you've done. I really like the idea of this model but I know I'd use it very little. Hopefully.. I can help AH out with a purchase when the Dove/Devon is released;)

Oh Nick.. the EC-130 is only $17.45 in the Labor day sale at PCA (50% off) plus a further 10%. Don't expect any support off Nemeth if you get it and have problems cause they've folded to all intents!!

Thanks Dave. Being that it's a fictional paint I figured "why not". :biggrin-new: I have 2 Coastal Command and 1 USAAF ready for upload. Just need to get a pic for the last one. I know if I keep posting pics I will break your will to resist picking this one up.:triumphant:

Yep. Check your private messages within the next 15 minutes or so. Sending some screenshots and a description on how to get that to work. Actually works by default, but you just need to know what to press and how to maneuver.

Is there really Hank?? I know you can steer it with the tailwheel but the wheel never animates left or right. Let me have another look!!

That's a lovely paint btw:encouragement:

EDIT: Cheers Sean.. I'm a waitin';)

DaveB, look in the manual, page 9 button nr 11 .... that will unlock the tailwheel. :very_drunk:

Hank

I hate manuals!!:banghead: Cheers to you and Sean who pointed it out via screenshot. I'm going to pass this on to all at CBFS as I'm sure no one there knows about it either. It must be our age!!

I've dug the RN grey out of isolation and it doesn't look quite as bad as I remember. I took the grey from the old Alpha RN Lynx but other layers have taken their toll. I wanted to bring the panel lines and rivets down a bit too but never got around to it. Anywho.. shield your eyes!!!

Glad to help. I hope we see a public release of this RN livery as well!

Dave Garwood was keen to do 'something' last year but wasn't sure what. I suggested another ship.. he thought about it.. I bought the plans for Nurton and he made it:) Actually.. he made Iveston 'M1151' as I was on the little tinker in '84. Luckily.. Bronington (another MCM2 hunter) was M1115 so I ripped the side numbers a few days to give Ivy some company. Iveston is comparatively high on polys though he still had room to add more detail should I have wanted it. I thought he'd done quite enough so he called it a day. His intention was to take some of the 3D modelled bits off (funnel badge and Squadron number) to pull the count down a bit so that more ships could be added to formations in similar fashion to your excellent frigates. He may release it one day.. I hope he does as it's a lovely little model. I dare not bother him about it at the moment as he's tinkering with other things and I need his eye on the ball:biggrin-new:

Ahhh, very nice! I think they had the last one at Dartmouth for navigation training when I was there. It was retired the week before my division did the module so I didn't get to go on her!

Iveston lives on but her days are numbered. After a successful few years being kept alive.. she passed to the local Sea Cadets (Thurrock I think) and continued on. Many of her systems were kept operational by volunteers but she's now reached a point where the Sea Cadets can no longer afford to keep her going and she's passed to another owner.. probably for disposal:( Had some good times on Iveston and it will be a shame to see her go.

Meanwhile.. I've lightened the panel lines and rivets on the grey UH60. If it's ok.. I'll let it go public
