• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Sometimes FSX default scenery surprises me, Rio de Janeiro with a touch of Shade. Turned out nice.

By the way I love that comic book effect on the video on the main page... Blue Angles!!!
 
Ahhhhh OK. Looks awesome. That Shade program is one of the best addons for FSX. Adds depth and a new sense of realism. I forgot to start up FSX earlier today using that. But as you can see with the first 2 pics the difference is night and day. Thanks for the compliment of the video. Wasn't our idea we had seen it in a Strike Fighter ball video and loved the effect they pulled off with the comic book theme.
 
Cool... I remember seeing that comic book effect somewhere before. I agree, Shade adds a new dimension to FSX!

Could not use this scenery for several years... old pc couldn't handle it. So I thought I would use it for my next video. Carvalho... thanks for requesting the Herc video, or would have not dug up this scenery.
