Sweet! The "B-70" really looks bad ass, It was a very advanced design for its time and still looks advanced.

Yes! Search for 'Valkyrie' at Avsim and you'll find these old paints by Pierre Lheureux. Made for the old Fs9 Alphasim model, but if you copy the texture.cfg from the original texture folder to each repaint they will work nicely with FsX. You might also have to adjust the aircraft.cfg a little to rename Alphasim to Virtavia.

Other repaints include fictional NASA, ARDC, Pan-Am (Two versions) and TWA.

I didn't know of these paints, though I have every version of the XB-70 ever released .... and had done some odd paints of my own...

You know what, Ferry...



I was in that very aircraft model about an hour and a half ago, in FS9.... With that exact paint! Pierre did some excellent brushwork on this bird.... and if you want to go long distances in a big hurry, the Valkyrie is the ticket.

Playing with the XB-70 again...fiddling with those paints....getting them a bit more 'metal' and made some burner effects that respond to engine shutdowns [within the limitation of FSX max of 4, not 6]....

'Twas always one of my fave planes....ever since I first saw a photo....way back when.
