FSX Screenshots Here!!

nice work inside and out!
I would LOVE to have this repaint...

The A2A cub repaint is from this link, 3rd post https://a2asimulations.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=59540

Thanks, but I didn't have to do much, just the N-number and redid the pontoons. I lucked out that Collings' plane matches the VH-IRM skin from the original release.

I'm kind of sad that MS modeled the folding wings. I think the older wings "fit" the plane better. And I bet it flew a bit more, shall we say, "stately" with those longer wings. :)
But, man, those OZx folks really caught that shine of the skin to absolute perfection... I'm stunned by its beauty.

I'll have it up soon...

Thanks for the link :)

I'm not sure if I'll be able to release this one. I'll be contacting Roy soon for permission...

Oh, very nice, and well done!
Let me know how you get on with Roy, I did a few paints a while ago that he wouldn't let me post, but which he did include in one of his updates (Bitch 'n Mitch and Dreamy Time Gal), but I do have a few more I never uploaded..

You might be waiting a very long time, I believe Roy pasted away over 12mths ago

His was very clear that no repaints where to be posted for his B25, hence why there are no available paints by 3prd parties

His wife just posted on his website in January regarding Roy's health. Sadly, he's been severely hobbled by Parkinson's and falls last year which broke his neck and back. According to his wife those injuries are now behind him, but he can no longer work at his FS projects. But he's still maintaining his website, I assume with the help of his wife and friends.

Hello Aharon - if you are referring to the images I posted above including the GAS Super Stearman, that region is the Southern Sierra range, not the Alps.
The airfield is O26 Lone Pine...California
The scenery is courtesy of ORBX North America Global etc..
it DOES look somwhat Alpine for sure..

I used the same region, same airstrip for the A2A Cub images nearer the top of this page also..

I continue to be utterly amazed at the quality of the work the OZx team did on this bird...
I was able to take one of their paints, modify it slightly (well, "slightly" might be a little understated, I think it took me at least 6 hours to create those textures on the floats, and I can't say I'm totally happy with them. But, given the stretching and pixel rotation going on, they came out ok), and, well, here you go. I'll be releasing it soon.

Did your Goose paint ever get released?

Exciting Police Chase On FSX!!!!

Shalom and greetings all my pals,

When I was taxiing my plane to parking location on cargo apron of PAFA Fairbanks airport after a nice inter- Alaska cargo hauling flight, I saw a police car chasing a red car!!!

Thank you for viewing! Stay tuned for next exciting flight report.

Carenado C185 Katahdin Air & 92B Long Lake Seaplane Base

My latest project I've been working on. The seaplane bases in ME are pretty underserved for scenery. I wanted to make a quick hop from Moosehead Lake to somewhere... but none of the bases have any scenery up there. So I'm going to work on a couple. The first is 92B Long Lake in Sinclair, ME, way up north. Next I want to attack 21M and ME30 on Moosehead Lake, and 70B Millinocket which is where I found the following plane... The repaint is actually semi-fictional, the real plane is a U206 Stationair, but the closest I have is the Carenado C185 Bush for a floatplane. I've adapted it for both the float and the amphibious models.

The Scenery (work in progress). I adjusted the runways to fit the UT scenery a little better, and added a couple dock parking locations you can start at as well as a fuel box at a dock (along with all the objects, nothing was there originally).

The real plane

Interesting side note. I know Carenado years ago created an update for the C185 to fix an issue where the rudders were texture mapped opposite...So I started with the amphibious plane and it was fine, but when I was applying it to the Float, the model I have has the reversed rudders issue. Now, I just bought the plane a few weeks ago, and Carenado no longer has an update page to download updates. So I assume they meant to apply the updated model to their download. Has anyone else seen this issue with the float model (not the amphibious)? Has anyone seen the float model with the update? I'm asking because I'm not sure which version of skin I should post for the float. I'm in contact with Carenado, but I don't know if they'll address this issue.

I also didn't get the blank texture with my purchase either, which is confusing Carenado. I was able to download it from the Wayback machine (what a wonderful resource). But we are trying to sort that out. I mentioned the reversed rudder issue, but they haven't responded to that yet.

Carenado FSX C206 floatplane

So, I looked at their site, and their C206 model information doesn't say anything about a float plane model, so I didn't get it. But I just did a search just now, and I found a repaint for an FSX Carenado C206 Floatplane. Do they sell one? Does anyone sell one?

Edit: Nevermind, I found it at Justflight. I wonder why Carenado doesn't list it in their store?

Their C206 is one of their older models. Your ME seaplane base project is a terrific idea. I was treated age 13 to a C185 floatplane ride around Moosehead lake from the Greenville seaplane dock. Remember being very worried that fuel gauge showed E the whole flight and the pilot laughing at my fretful gaze at it.
