FSX Screenshots Here!!

Hello Richard,

Whose NASA F-104 repaint is that, and for what model? I've been dying to have a NASA F-104, and having just gotten the SSW FRF-104G pack on the "sale", it'd be a dream to have that repaint for it.

Many kind thanks,

dl

Hello DL,
These are old screenshots with the F104G Alphasim / Virtavia. I uninstalled FSX several years ago.
I do not remember the name of the author of this beautiful texture. Maybe Pierre Lheureux who made many repaints for Alphasim.
(I started that Nasa texture for the F104 SSW - P3Dv4 but I am not competent enough for metallic textures and my result is not convincing!)

Thanks - yes, I recall that funny AIM-9 only loadout on that old Virtavia model. Back in the FS9 days, Pierre Lheureux did some of my favourite repaints. I think he's long gone from the sim scene, unfortunately - but he did some lovely work.

You've taken some really lovely shots that are close to my heart - those X-15 shots earlier are gorgeous, and the Edwards AFB F-15 (I presume that's the Milviz? model) is lovely too. Thanks for your great repaints and your superb screenshots - some might find their way onto my pc's wallpapers :encouragement:

A pretty lady

Plenty of time on our hands so big clean out of the 'fixable of ditchable box' or just forgotten. This was a gem in real life as well, probably in my view the prettiest light twin ever designed. This is Rob Richardson's delightful Beagle Basset B.206. A remarkable aeroplane really that really never made it commercially. Handled beautifully, performance was adequate and a great load lifter. RFDS Beagle on a run from Broken Hill to Dubbo.

Very 1970's the orange colour scheme of the Royal Flying Doctor Service in Oz. No engine nacelle stripe deliberately omitted as I thought it looked awful on the real ones. This paint is a WIP trying to see if I can tweak the textures.

Richardlouis,

Where did you get those realistic looking mountains in your screenshots, please?

Regards,

Aharon

Hi Aharon,
I supose You mean those with the F106 in Bicentenial color scheme.
It's an Orbx scenery "Jackson Hole airport". Mountain is the Grand Teton.
Regards,
Richard
