Ha! More great shiny things erican2! Do I see the one finger salute in the third pic up? Lol. No, that scenery is the old Earth Simulations IOM.

Formation work

A little late afternoon formation work with my AI. I haven't done this in a while and I am VERY rusty. Not to mention the Virtavia F-104 isn't the most easy to handle birds. Especially in speed control....

Haven't seen a Me 323 before.

UENOSHING did a great job with the XFV-1, unfortunately the real aircraft never got the engine it was designed for so it never did any VTOL.
It did do a transition to the hover at altitude, a clip on you tube showing the transition. It's a bit tricky to take off vertically but it's well modelled and fun to fly.

The Me323 was part of the Lionheart Creations Valkyrie advanture package for FS2004. The package is not longer for sail, but it came with flights, cars, scenery and a lot of AI. It even contained 2 submarine pens and a submarine. The package was fun, but only two aircraft which were included are still for sale. This is the dual package containing the Bucker Bu181 Bestmann and the Grunau baby glider. Like most models by William "Lionheart" Ortis they are very nicely done.

There is also an Me323 by Mr Ito, which most likely will port over to FSX without problems, as most models by Mr Ito do.

Cheers,
Huub

Simmarket still sells the Valkyrie package!

Lockheed L-18 Lodestar "The Liz"

The LIZ.jpg

Leased to Elizabeth Taylor's then husband and movie mogul Mike Todd. He was killed in March 1958 when the plane crashed due to an engine failure and ice buildup. The airplane was also significantly overweight.

A repaint of Milton Shupe and team's great model redone for FSX / P3D.

Only a poor film clip, one partial color photo and two partial B&W photos could be found of this plane, but I believe it is close.
