It's actually one of the safest twins ever built.

1) By staggering the engines he can move them in closer together so they are closer to the centerline (center of mass) so an engine out situation doesn't create as much adverse yaw as a standard twin would in an engine out situation.

2) The twin tails mean in an engine out situation the good engine will be forcing air over one of the vertical tails for more control power; due to the increased thrust on the operating engine.

3) The twin boom design makes for a stronger/lighter structure and allows a lot of internal volume for storage and fuel.

The beginning of a work day...

....time to get started doing some aerial application work. I sure hope nobody from either the EPA or FAA stops by today as I don't have either an aerial applicator's license or a commercial pilot's license...But wait, this is virtual flying...LOL
