Joe, I love those Mustang repaints, they really look great! Be sure to delete the shadow of the battery vent scoop that is on the forward wing/cowl fairing (as those models don't have the scoop, as the later ones do).

Good catch on the scoop John, I completely over looked that. Don't know if I will release the "Big Dick" paint as
Bruce Martin already did that one for the Little Friends package and is here in the library. When I found his paint
I had already about finished mine. The Double Trouble Two paint with invasion stripes is just me adding them as
I couldn't find any pics that it actually did wear them. That one will be released without the stripes unless anyone
wants that version.

I don't suppose you know of a paint for G-SUZY in her later.. polished scheme for the WBS model do you? I've searched everywhere and eventually stumbled over a paint of her wearing green (T6Flyers thread) and I found a thread at Mutley's Hangar asking if JanKees was going to do Suzy for the A2A Mustang too but I can't see a ref for a completed WBS paint nor what version it was. This is one of the few Mustangs I've seen I don't have a paint for.

Dave, I have been working on a repaint of that aircraft, as it appears right now, but it may not be what you're expecting. As you know, the former G-SUZY (registered D-FPSI in Germany) has been polished and painted in the markings of "Lucky Lady VII" for the past several years, based in Germany and Switzerland. However, just over this past winter, the aircraft has been repainted into new permanent markings, of 4th FG pilot 1st Lt. Wilbur Eaton, with the fantastic nose art of "See Me Later", and I have been working on reproducing it as it currently looks. I would still like to see, or do, a repaint of the aircraft as "Lucky Lady VII" as well, for the WBS model, but more importantly for me I would like to have the aircraft in the sim as it appears up to this very time. With regard to European-based restored Mustangs, I would also still like to do G-SHWN (the one with the new RAF markings/shark mouth), "Moobeam McSwine" (which has been based in Fance), and "Trusty Rusty" (which is based in the Netherlands) - I've been purposely saving all of the TF-51D paint schemes for the eventual proper model(s). The next repaints that will be out the door are the restored examples "Dakota Kid II", "Bunny", "Val-Halla", "American Beauty" (Olympic Flight Museum), and "See Me Later" (D-FPSI), followed by what will be updated versions of paint schemes for "Restored Part 1" and "Restored Part 2" owners.
