FSX Screenshots Here!!

Gorgeous shots, Ted and Rick! I like the horizon blur in your shot, Rick. It would be cool to have a camera-focus feature in FSX that would allow you to, in the game, change the focus of the camera to mostly the aircraft and thus make objects further away blurred, and allow you to play with that effect on a sort of slider of sorts.

Another of SWingman's classic FSX-native productions (with some beautiful flight characteristics to match the beautiful model).

John, have you ever experimented with the ENB shader? As I recall, there's a depth of field switch in it that does something like that. I remember trying it out and being sort of tickled with it, although it ate just enough performance to be problematic for regular flying. It might well work for screenshots, though! One of the videos of my scenery done by a user (Varioflight) used this feature to good effect. Watch how the panel goes in and out of focus depending on whether he's looking outside or in.

Thank you Bill, I'll have to look into that! I never got into the ENB addon when it first came on the scene, but I'll have to try it out again.

Dave Garwood's freeware Mosquito, on a photo shoot of sorts over Florida (visions of someday seeing Kermit Weeks' Mosquito flying again).
