• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

FSX Screenshots Here!!

Is it this one?

No, it's this one: http://www.virtua-aerodesign.net/html/creations_fsx.html (Second from the bottom)
Not a Magister, but the Zephyr, a navalized version of the Magister with a slightly longer fuselage (Not the larger window between the two cockpits) and a tailhook for carrier ops.
No Native FsX Magister around that I know of. Shame as it is a favourite of mine both in real-life and in Fs since the Fs8 version by Mikko Maliniemi (Sp?)

No need for a payware version when this quality is available already for free.

Well, I disagree. There's a definite difference between freeware stuff and payware. It is quite rare to get a freeware that is payware level. This Fouga looks nice but it's not payware quality.

Thanks though!

I've seen many freeware models which are much better than poor payware models. I have seen freeware model which were at the same level as payware models. And I have seen freeware models which could perhaps use some improvement.

But there is no rule that payware is better than freeware. Most Restauravia models are definitely at the same level as some payware products. For the Fouga it is even more simple. There is no alternative.

You are definitely allowed to have your own opinion, but you should not confuse your personal opinion with absolute truth. You only need to look at the screenshots in this thread to discover how good freeware actually is.

But if you think a model becomes better when you pay for it, that's fine with me.......

Cheers,
Huub
