Thanks everyone, but the real thanks go to Mike as both the B-17 formations and 109K are his babies.
Mike, do each b-17 have contrail effects attached to them by chance? I'm using them (formations) with
AICarriers but left the effect entry out of the sim cfg file. If they do, those pics of mine would have looked
even better as I have them over 21K.

As the formation is only one aircraft, as far as FSX is concerned, contrails aren't really possible. To have contrails, you'd have to attach the effect to each and every single 'aircraft' location - which would be 162 entries in the aircraft.cfg, or even 648 entries if each engine requires the effect. I think it would be pretty hard on the sim to have that much going on, even assuming it's possible!

Its on par with the Acceleration Hornet, just with a second seat. The new freeware Hornets are much better.
