Put a date on this?

It's a WIP repaint right now. Abacus E2C from (was) the USS Gerald Ford. Sucks without a paintkit lol. To everyone smirking...bought it when i first started flying FSX so lay off already lol.

I agree though it would be a nice addon from a high quality dev.

Oh yeeeeeeh.... Catalina Island. Spent many a night anchored RIGHT THERE in a Catalina 27' A wonderful island out of season;-)

my grandmother went to grade school in that pavilion, great grandpa worked for Zane Grey at the time..on the island..

1976?

what F-4J model with folded wings is this?

Spot on - except for the S3s, of course. Well done.

The F4 is the FMAI model "for BigE", available at flightsim.com. Skins are VF-151("B" model) and VF-11("J" model).
It's old FS9, of course, so some systems will have trouble with the glass transparency.

That was an easy one for me as I did these VF-11 repaints.
It is always nice to see other people using them.:encouragement:

I used a black alpha channel to hide the nose sensor of the F-4B model to convert it into the F-4J.
This was also used to create different loadouts.
I always thought this "black alpha channel trick" does not work in FSX.
So how did you do that?

I didn't. They're completely unchanged from FS9.
