First off , Specs

Sony Vaio 3.40Ghz 2Gb Ram 512 MB ATI 1900 XT Card ( oldie...... but it works )

Audio - 5.1 Channel - Intel High def audio.

I run with Logitech 5.1 surround sound most of the time .

Complaint & Question -

Click on "Settings" and clicking on "Sound" go to "Windows Sound Device" I have two choices -

Default Primary Device or Realtek HD Audio High Def ...... my issue is with both.

When I'm in the cockpit of the choosen a/c doing my run thru , I have sound coming from all five speakers , perfect ! ...... but when I go to my external view the sound only travels thru "one" of five speakers ??

Have I set something up incorrectly ?

Open to some thoughts or ideas,

thank you.

nope.. the HD system is autmatically adjusting for the two different types of output.. I had the same complaint for a long time. I play a blue ray movie and i get surround sound, i do anything else and windows reverts to a stereo output.. drove me nuts, but its normal..
