FSX: The 1940 Fokker T.5 bomber released

Not too much to show, but just getting myself on track... Pilot's aux panel.

Did a bit of texturing lastly, not too much however... Upper lever is the U/C lever, below that one is the Flaps lever.

Electrical panel of the observer/commander, again these fuseholders.

Looking back from the nose... Few parts are pink coloured, I park them for a while. Oh, damaged the seat of the observer..

Now I'm getting on track a bit again, I hope to be able to show you more soon...

Great work Daan!! Man, am I glad we have such a rotten climate ;-). So what else can you do than working on a flightsim-model ? (lol).

Can't wait flying it, just as your wonderful D-XXI.

hertzie.

Yep, project still alive but I'm having some difficulties with the gauges now. Thanks for the support guys, next I need is a deadline...;) Work was far more effective last year with the 13 May deadline ahead...

When you want a dead-line you can get it :biggrin-new: What about a nice Christmas gift to the community :running:

Okay that could be Christmas 2016 as well..........

Cheers,
Huub

Haha Huub! I'll try my best! I found a way to make it easier for myself...

Since I don't have a lot of information and modelling of the mid- and rear-fuselage sections interior, it's hard for me to get texture sheets right, and organize materials, and the like. So, I decided to put a simple plane between the first and second pilot's compartment. The nose section will the first section to be finished and included in release. Otherwise, I wouldn't be able to make progress until mid-2017 (when all modelling is finished), which will draw the entire process as well.

So, now I focus on texturing the nose interior and programming the stuff.

The Fokker yoke is really an interesting thing. I can't recall I have ever seen an other manufacturer using a similar design.

Cheers,
Huub

The Embrear ERJ springs to mind. Not quite same but the general idea is the same I think.
Ziet er mooi aan Daan. Petje af voor je ontwerpvaardigheden :applause:

A few screens from FSX.

The nose section: the hinged panel of the commander/observer/bombardier. No glass in front of the gauges yet.

The desk of the very same crewmember. Next to it, the Van Heijst panel.

As it's all about that yoke, 'bout that yoke:

The two horns behind the pilot, with a part of the fire extinguisher. I'd like to refer to this photograph for the real one: http://www.nederlandseluchtvaart.nl/forums/showpost.php?p=55273&postcount=9

Thanks!

nederlandseluchtvaart.nl is down... The place where I got most of my information, where I met new people, where I got my inspiration...

I understand the admin's decision. Now I want to express my feelings:

Its a real pity Daan. I will miss the place too. The knowledge there was incredible.

A sad Huub

Finally, the bomber starts talking back to me! I started on the labels, which is coming along nicely.

The panel at the right fuselage side. Everything is incomplete in multiple ways, but, anyway... Note: the fuseholders have got their correct color designation.

Engine and trim controls at the left side.

The rotatable console of the observer/commander/bombardier.

Have a nice one!
