From what I have learned about the Tigercat, the XF7F-1 was purely a short lived test bed with no armament.
If there is interest, I could do an F7F-2 with armament by adding some of the elements from the F7F-3 model to the F7F-1 model. I haven't done the deep research, but the F7F-2 looks like the same airframe as the F7F-1 i.e. short round tail etc.
I'm starting work on the F7F-3 variants immediately after we finish the XF7F-1. These variants have armament up the kazoo and I will be looking at the gun sight requested for these models. TacPack will be included as well.
Bear in mind that I am doing this work concurrent with my full time effort to launch the new FSX, Steam and P3D scenery product line, so I'll need everyone's patience as I bring these models online.
The XF7F-1 is essentially finished at this point.
Working on last minute cockpit and gauge lighting now with Mr. Shupes insight, input and generally keen eye for detail. Neither Mr. Shupe nor myself would allow this model to fly without it being thoroughly vetted.

)BTW gman, any chance we may get a model with droptanks????? (please, please, please......)
</tt>

Droptanks on the F7F-3...affirmative.
2000+ ponys over each shoulder...there were a number of R2800 models, some of which made up to 2800 HP. I suppose one could tweak the F7F-3 Racer up to racing power with a bit of judicious code enhancement in the .cfg. Not sure where we could find anyone in this bunch with the technical wherewithal to achieve such a feat of daring do.....hmmmm?
Did I mention this model comes with a rather impressive sound set?
The Kitty can from time to time...wellll...snarl! Keep your whip handy.
