I'm having trouble with downloading the default weather. Is it down? Or is it my problem?
What do I check to correct it?
I don't know why I care ... it's never right.
Thanks

Joe all real world weather has been down since yesterday some time.

Check the FS9 forum for an alternative. FSMetar's it works in FSX also.

I have metar but server 1 has been down fora while and it takes about 15 min to switch to 2.

Thanks

Yes the IVAO server has done something to there weather page and FSMetar can not find it.

Simply change the default download location to VATSIM

In the program on the top tool bar

go to FSMetar

Select Configuration

In the default download server select VATSIM (NOAA also fails for me)

My other settings are

FS Refresh 30 seconds
Send Metar to FS Checked

Internet Refresh 15 minutes
Down load Metars when FSMetar starts checked

That at least will give you Real World Weather
