Special Server Maintenance
Just when you think you have everything running some what better...
You get a message from the Hosting company. Short story they need to move us to a new server. I have been working with them to plan a good date for all concerned. Here is what we have come up with as a schedule.
- November 4th 17:00 -5UTC shut off the forums and start backup proceedures. During this time there will be no access to the forums or the Resource Section.
- November 5th Continue with Backups and download same until complete.
- November 6th 7:00 turn over server to hosting company to move system to new server
- November 7th - 8th restore backups and upgrade forum software.
If all goes well we should be back online on November 8th.
To keep you updated we will post updates on AVSIM forums.

FSXWX problems

+1 about the weather server and homepage being 2 different things. But......several many reports on the Flightsim.com FSX forum about the same issue. You would have to hope they didn't close down the store and take their ball (weather server) and went home.
P.S. I just tried FSRealWX Lite. Haven't used it in the last 3 years. It's still going strong.
I am trying to register on their site and there is a bot question about what is the label of the top leftmost button on FSXWX client.
I have tried all sorts of answers but cannot get it right.I know I am 80 but I am not stupid.
Can some kind person help me so I can register.

Wait, I'm confused, so help me out here: Are FSXWX and FSrealWX two different things? Are they both free? Which one is better?
I've used FSrealWX a lot and it was fine.
