FTX Central 2.0 Beta Available

Sounds interesting. Though sadly, i see no mention of whether it will now 'play nicely' with Scenery Config Manager that so many of us now use?

lol, Really? I've never heard of it?

Its not possible to save 'Groups' of scenery with the config manager, AND use FTX Central, as it re writes and deletes them:( I don't know enough to know which program has the issue, or even both. Most stuff I've read though, puts the problem squarely on FTX Central. Not a huge issue, but does mean we can't make the most of SCE.

SCE is writing "extra" entries into the scenery.cfg that FSX does not interpret. FTX Central writes a "stock" scenery.cfg file. I use both but rarely change FTX Central. Mostly I am changing things in SCE on a daily basis.

Dougal95,

After installing a new orbx product, open SCE and do a "Restore Groups" then click OK leaving "Only for areas without groups" selected. The only thing that seems not to be restored is Tongrass Fjords. Not sure why but that is the only thing I have to keep putting back into a group.
