Dimus SOH-CM-2025 Mar 6, 2014 #7 IMHO, GEX is much better in dryer areas and FTX Global nicer in lush greener areas as the textures are "greener" overall. I keep GEX in FSX and installed FTX Global in P3D v2 for which GEX does not yet have a compatible version.
