Furry Friends

If I remember correctly, you "introduced" the woman's son's face to the house fan, didn't you? People that abuse animals are sick. Cats are wonderful......

accually yes i did..id forgoten id talked about this before.....my violent side comes up when people hurt animals....

Here is my Katastrophe, She is 12 years old, and still quite the wild one..

She loves to hunt mice, and when sucsessful, she enjoys sharing Her Kill
Several times She has brought to me half a mouse, so I can also enjoy the meal..
I always get the rear half it seems..

I don't know who told her I like mouse Butt as a snack.. No matter how hard I try to convince her otherwise..
I still recieve my Mouse Butt snack on a regular bases..

Most of you folks have seen pics of our Fur Kids before...but here are they are again.

First, our oldest Child....Brutus. Twelve pounds of Chihuahua/Jack Russell Terrier mix. Will be 5 in March. Very loving, very energetic, very annoying at times...but we love him dearly.

Then comes my Girl...Hazel. 8 pounds of muscle and grit...as unChihuahua like as a Chihuahua can be. She will be 3 years old on the 11th of this month. Hazel usually looks right into the camera when I take pics of her, but she was more interested in the snack crackers Deb was eating.

And lastly, there is Auggie, our cat. It's a shame that our cat is bigger and heavier than both of our dogs put together, but that's the truth of it. He is a big cat, solid with little fat. Generally quite and out of the way....though his extra fine hair and cat litter dust make themselves known throughout the house.

We also have three fish tanks...a 5 gallon, a 30 gallon and a 55 gallon. Some time I need to get a million pics just to get a dozen good pics of my fish. My fish range in size from a 1 inch Long Fin Red Minor Tetra all the way up to an 10 inch Gold Severum. The funny thing is that the Tetra likes to hang out with the Severum...who could very easily eat the Tetra...but Sid, the Severum, is a very peaceful fish and bothers no one.

These are my Dog Children. Bugsy (White) is still with us after 14 1/2 years. We lost Mugsy (Brown), her brother, a few months ago to a brain tumor. His collar and leash are on the table in the living room. You never know when he might show back up and want to go for a walk.

Haley,
shes 16,had a rough kittenhood,,woman i lived with brought her home at 6 days old..vet wanted to put her to sleep cause she was so young...i refused and bottle fed her and had to help her go potty a few times...the womans son would put haleys head in the house fan and the woman would throw haley from the bed against the wall at night.....we faught over the treatment of the cat many times...but she made it and is my lil buddy now...love of my life....

omg i need a partner.......

ya know....the bond some people have with thier pets are more akin to "unconditional love"..ya know?...yesterday two things happened.....first my folks bought me a new large recliner because the one i had...well it was old and the back fell off...so the new one was to be delievered and we took the old one apart( we had had to jerry rig it together so i had a chair) and then wait for the new one which ment haley needed to be closed in the bedroom, she wasnt a happy camper...but i went to check on her and she jumped up on the bed..curled up and just purrred.....she was just happy i was there .....then it was raining.but the yard man came and mowed ( dont ask me why,but he did) i was carrying haley over to my folks house to wait for the new chair to show up and let her relax some when all heck broke loose...she ended up hanging upside down and vertically from my hands and dangling from her hind legs over the running engine of the lawn mower...the thing is......i could feel her purring the whole time....robert (the yardman) started laughing as i was panicing...and he commented...you should have seen the look on the cats face.....i said yeah..i bet she was wild..he said.."no..she looked at me like...dude..wazzzup??...daddy has me and im ok...weeeeeeeee" ( he said this),and like i said she never stopped purring and when i righted her and got her back in my arms..she just looked at me like....come on..lets go..im gettin wet....

like i said..unconditinal love.....and then last night..i couldnt sleep and wasnt feeling good..another kidney stone is coming..will be number 5 in 2 months...but she got in to the "spoonin" possition with me and purred away.....gotta love it....

For those dog people with Netflix, there is a very good documentary on the Science of Dogs or somesuch. Definitely worth watching. It is surprising the degree to which the domestic dog has changed from its Gray Wolf origins. More and more interesting facts are being discovered about the domestic dog....such as the fact that they are the only animal that recognizes the human gesture of pointing, that dogs alone are able to read human emotions by looking at the right side of the human face.
