Furure "Warbirds" movie...

Wittpilot

Just check out some of the footage for this upcoming film... hopefully it eventually gets released... doesn't look horrible, doesn't look great... I noticed a lot of it was filmed at "Thunder Over Michigan"... Someone over at Wix posted a link to the story line... but I can't find it now...

Awesome footage.... :applause:

I got it to work, a few stutters - in the middle, but I watched the whole footage in HD! :medals:

Synopsis:

"Birds" follows an Air Force veteran-turned-reckless airshow re-enactment pilot as he gets pulled into the underground culture of illegal, real-life aerial combat. Shooting is scheduled for the summer in Michigan using all real airplanes and aerial sequences, including authentic P-51 Mustangs, P-38 Lightnings, F4U Corsairs and a B-17 Flying Fortress as well as modern military helicopters and jets.

Uhhh. I don't know. It really doesn't look good. After watching that clip, I had the strong feeling I'd rather be duct taped to a chair and forced to watch "Iron Eagle" instead.... :icon_lol: :icon_lol: :icon_lol:

Hey, I always liked the first Iron Eagle! Am I alone in that thought? But I'll agree with you, it does seem like a modern Iron Eagle type of film.

Looks pretty crazy. Some nice action shots - but
if the acting and story line is anything like 'Thunder Over Reno' its DOA.

:kilroy:

Heh, actually I didn't mind the numerous sequels to "Iron Eagle". The first one one always cracked me up though, he couldn't fly unless he had a Walkman strapped to his leg. But let's face it, Lou Gossett Jr makes any movie good. :applause:

i have the dvd, and me and my stepson crack jokes through the whole movie, but everyone knows to shut up during the flight scenes.

Nice to see an action movie without CGI being used all the time.
Other than that, I think it's as dumb as a box of rocks!
This will really help the warbird movement. Insert sarcastic sigh here.

I'd like to see a movie about the mechanics on Wake...
