FW-189

Anybody who is really good with modifying M3D's, think you can take the FW-189's from the ETO expansion and make them flyable instead of solely AI? Think that would be one HELL of a fun aircraft to use. Just curious.

If you use an air file editor you can reset the Aircraft Category from 2 to 0, and they will become player flyable. (I did the FW-189 years ago)

I don't currently have the ETO expansion installed. Did it come with Fw-189's or are they downloadable somewhere? Can you post a pic or two of them? The original Beta model was from Dancat (if that's the one ETO is using?) without landing gear or flap animations. Jaycee and I were toying with it some years ago. Jaycee made a NF radar for it but I don't recall if it was ever uploaded.

No, ETO didn't include a Fw-189.

edit: a flyable one, that is: missed the talk of converting AI version to flyable, oops

AFAIK it was never used by the NJGs and the 'Uhu' name was taken over by the He219. Mostly used on the Eastern Front.

This is what i have in the ETO. Far as i know, it just had to be modded .

You can find it under CFS3 ETO v.1.50 ETO , ETO_FW_189 . You can convert it to flyable just as Andy says.
