I don't need one... but I do have a question about it...

I saw a video of the now defunct Cavanaugh Flight Museum cranking over their Dora and running the Benz for a little. I have NEVER heard an engine run so rough in my life! Either that or the turbocharger thing that was screaming above all the noise was blocking some of it... did the Daimlers really run that rough?

Wherever Lawdog's at... and I know he's out there... I got a set of real FW-190D sounds waiting for him when he's ready.

The engine is actually a Jumo, even though it sounds like a DB 605 Benz. The museum is the now defunct Champlin Fighter Museum, not the Cavanaugh Flight Museum (which is very much active).

Some of the reason for the roughness of the engine was because it was missing an essential item to run at any power above simply idling, and was obviously not tuned in, having not run very much at all prior.
