fw190 paintkit

I am trying to make a repaint for the FI Fw190 but i keep running against a problem.
In the paintkit there are serious paint chippings around the wing roots but i want to get rid of this.
I want it to be freshly painted.
But it doesn't matter how many layers I add , it keeps shinning through.
Does anybody know how this is solved ?
Also there are 2 little circular lids on the wings which don't wanna be painted.
I have been trying this for weeks now and it is driving me nuts.

They're on the wing COMP textures in the base texture folder.

Thanks for the answers but thats not quite what i meant.
I know about the comp and such but this is pure about the albedo texture.
This is the base texture and lowest metal layer shines through . I added a blank layer on top of it.

But when start painting this , it won't cover the blank metal bits.
