Yes............. I have only two programs running, when I use Game Booster.
1. TIR5
2.CFS3 (eto expansion)
3. When I am done flying, I open Game Buster and go back to normal mode.
I can see the change, when I did not use it after cfs3 loaded the cloads flashed once, with Game booster, they flashs twice. NO PROBLEMS!

Slip Stream, It shuts down all unneeded programs running in the back ground, I have been using it since I set up the new computer, and frees up alot of ram, in my case about 200 meg..My flight sims run better and I haves seen NO ill effects from it, My friend..I can recommend it Highly..Just remmember to go back to normal mode from gaming mode when you are finished flying..Try it I think you also will like it. If not then just uninstall it..

I use Process Lasso to do the something similar, and it changes modes automatically so you don't have to remember to restore. It's also free with a fairly unobtrusive nag after a while.
