Gannet Fun

I'm still wondering how Fairey got away with such an ugly aircraft...

Nice shots 'though!

Yep, very nice shots CG. Was it Razbam that came out with that? I know I bought it when it was first released, flew it a few times and then uninstalled it. I just couldn't get past the exterior, lol.

From a modeling standpoint, it was very well done, for it's time it had an excellent VC, everything about it in that sense was quality. It was just so danged ugly I couldn't keep it, lol.

Ok, I checked my invoices and back in 2005 I purchased the Breguet Alize from Razbam, the ugly French version of the ugly British version. So I was wrong in assuming what CG had was what I remembered buying, but I was still correct in it's ugliness, lol.

Great shots, it's very nice to see this ugly bird which I think is quite special! The freeware model is pretty darned good, and the fact that Australia used to fly the type of HMAS Melbourne is a nice trip down memory lane!
