GAS Davis D-1

I remember Steve Myers Davis way back and this will be a commendable FsX version. I wouldn't be surprised if Steve didn't have a little input

He reached out to me last year he was interested in getting back into modeling. We wanted him to join the team. I have not heard from him since. Perhaps he's following the forum and will reach out. I sure hope so.

Yeah, I loved his original. I'm glad you guys are making one. I just really like the look of parasol wings, not sure why. It's like a Biplane, but with good downward visibility? ;)

We'll be adding the 125 Warner variant as well as the Kinner. Having flown it in the sim. I believe that this will be a great scenery spotting platform. The view is almost unobstructed. Also its fully acobatic.

Outstanding! Really looking forward to this addition to the hanger. And here I was thinking I had too many aircraft...

Chris

The Davis has to be one of the prettiest of the Golden Age Classics!
Agreed. The wing alone is art. A shame that only a total of 65 planes were made. One has to wonder what aviation might have looked like if the great depression had not occurred

Well regardless of any input from Steve, the screenshots look great!! Looking forward to this fine parasol.

beauty parasol wing monoplane, very Golden Age - nice choice...will the Warner have a NACA speed ring?

Another Golden Age treat, I had no idea this aircraft even existed. What an elegant beauty she is - the Afghan Hound to the Aeronca's Pug, both lovely in their own ways.
