GAS Great Lakes Update

Not really sure, Heywood. It's worth considering. We really have not talked about that possibility.

May I suggest you consider the pricing structure which I believe is being used on the (Flight Replicas ??) P-40.

The more distinct models (with associated liveries) you buy, the price for each of the next subsequent model bought will DECREASE proportionally. The unit cost of each model becomes less the more you buy. That kind of pricing would place some temptation there for us. But that's marketing ......

Just my $0.02.

I suspect we'll be handling the package release like Lionheart did the Fairchild release and around the same price. There will be a revised version of Phenick Field scenery that will accompany the package.

any updates on the GLT for us Golden Age fanbois, Paul?...

I'm not much for BookFace - so if there are any new screenshots of the GLT in any configuration...could you GAS fellers drop em by this locality? :kilroy:

Here is the Kinner version featuring a livery made famous by Betty Skelton. The Warner version is under way but will take some time to develop as it will require a completely new fuselage and gauge suite. We've also added a vintage gauge set to the Cirrus much as one would expect for 1929 and added a new livery option to the Ranger version

agreed - ya'll are putting forth a terrific effort covering all the Great Lakes options.

thanks for the updates

checkerboard schemes look the best on a biplane IMO...just sayin'

speaking of ooze...we're oozing into October soon...:kilroy:.....

Yea we started before the leaves were on the tree and now they are turning color and dropping. Working on the Warner now and that may be as far as we take it. They did not have a Lycoming 4 banger in 1930

no worries - looking forward to the ones you have made already - thanks for the update Paul

just a bump to see how things are progressing - there just cant ever be enough screenshots of these essential biplanes :mixedsmi:

Beta testing will commence next week. The Warner version is finished and there will be one more livery for it. A snazzy yellow and black job. We got distracted working with Ed on the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome scenery but that's nearing completion as well. More on that later

Here is the Warner version in the livery worn by Hal Krier's Great Lakes.

now THAT is a Golden Age Beauty...round engine, open cockpit, two wings and fabulous fabric...in a spiffy red over white...100% awesome sauce
