GAS: In the Works Stampe

It does indeed look good. But a depiction of a Belgian plane without a Belgian version would be nothing short of an abomination...
One will be included perhaps 2. In discussions about the canopy version

looks correct in every way to my eyes...nice paint

I have a question... Is it possible to add some shading or shadow to the fuselage stringers and wing ribs such that they will stand out more from those surfaces?

it is the only difference I can tell between the r/l photo and the model screenshot by comparison - just a question - I am not a painter

Looks nice. :encouragement: Goofy question...How do you pronounce Stampe? I've heard some say Stampe as in something you place on an envelope, while others say Stampe as in you stomp on something. :dizzy:

This an earlier version off the fuselage. The finished version has a bit more detail
Thank you both for your replies - much appreciated. I had noticed the stringer and wing rib detail but thought the detail gets lost from many angles because of the lighting in FSX - I was just wondering if a paint layer that shaded the detail might improve things and help the detail stand out a little more in all lighting angles

The challenge with adding static shading is exactly that. It's static and will look as equally unrealistic at different lighting angles.

yeah - I was hoping there could be some sort of trade off balance but I suppose trying to manage that to all tastes would be like trying to ride an eight legged horse...

thanks for the reply, Paul

If this model comes to us with the canopy, I will buy it several times... For myself and my Belgian simming buddies!

Note the enhanced detail on the new fuselage
