Gas Prices Part 2 (Nov 08)

$1.95 here in smalltown Tennessee yesterday evening. $1.89 at Wally World in Humboldt.

Still a little more expensive out here on the Coast, 2.13 a gallon or so. I fueled up this morning, handed the guy a 50(a 50 hasn't filled my tank in a long time) and said fill it. He came back with 11 dollars and said here is your change! I was floored..

I just filled up for $1.859 a gallon. First time I've gotten over nine gallons for under $20 in a while. :d

The Seven Eleven down the street is at 1.859 for Regular.

Even lower yet.... Citgo at 1.809.

Hmm, sounds cheap in the US!! :) I've been paying between $1.60 and $1.22 per litre here in Australia.
Mind you Distillate//Diesel is still up at $1.50 per litre which makes my Grey Ferguson TEF20 tractor quite dear to run!!!
The best thing I've done is to convert my petrol (Gas=petrol) car to LPG (Liquid Petroleum Gas) which is 62.5 cents/per litre. My car is a 1994 GM Holden VR Commodore with a 3.8l V6 engine, normally i get 33 to 35 (imperial)MPG with the LPG it gets 25 to 28MPG, i.e. slightly down on power + economy but not noticeable in day to day driving.
the crux of the above??
Well the dual fuel large 6 cylinder car is thus cheaper to run than a Toyota prius or corrolla!!!! :costumes:

$1.71 at a convience store in Jackson, TN today. Can't remember the time before this that I filled the truck up.

Local station is at $1.85 now.
