Please note all as I mentioned in the announcement not all will be receiving all updates today another 200 will be sent tomorrow and the remainder Thursday. If you do not have your update by the weekend reach out. Thanks

Thank you, Paul for polishing these treasures even more. I'm enjoying both and it's tough to decide my favorite. (I'm leaning towards the Super;) ) They are most reminiscent of bygone days when the wind filled your face and the roar of the radial filled your ears. Such a pleasure to fly. Many kudos to you and your team.

the sound suite really is outstanding. The fine work by Sim Acoustics absolutely resonates within the Stearman collection from GAS

hmm, no mail has been received here yet.

Paul, does the Stearman have to be installed in the Community folder, or in my case, I have an alternative addons folder and use the AddonsLinker but I'm having problems. I'm missing animations and getting a CTD trying to click spots during the preflight inspections with the install outside of the Community Folder. Just curious if this is why.
Doug

Edit: Problem was in the Accessibility menu, somehow "cockpit interaction system" was switched to "legacy". Switching back to "Lock" seems to have fixed accessing positions around the aircraft. Now to go flying! Cheers!

Hi Doug,

Yes, the Stearman have to be installed in the Community or using a link.
Personally I install my aircraft/sceneries on a dedicated SSD and then I make a symbolic link of addon root folder to my Community (2020 or 2024) and it works perfectly. I have been doing this for 4 years: no worries.

If I’m not mistaken, Addon Linker does the same so it should work as well unless the installation is not complete (file broken or missing).

The engine suddenly dies shortly after take off. Being mindful of oil temp and RPMs and all. This is in MSFS 2020.

Okay, but do you have more details?

During the tests, the people of TEAM had problems at first but they gave me more information or screens or videos of their problems which helped greatly diasgnostiquer the origin of the problem.
Regarding the temperature, it is well indicated in the documentation to wait until it is at least 40°C before taking off otherwise it can damage the engine.
Using the engine beyond the maximum number of revolutions/minute allowed or for too long a period also causes problems on the engine.
If you do not follow these tips, it is logical that the engine stops on failures

It is essential that you follow the start checklist exactly. Also that you set rpm to 1100 with oil bypass engaged until oil temp reached at least 37C then turn off bypass. When taking off do not exceed 30 mm Hg nor rpm > 2500 for and duration. Prop power needs to be set at approximately 90%. So much of this is described in the manual. Give that a try and let’s see how you do. Patience

I haven't read the manual yet, then I also faced some issues with that plane, due to my lack of knowledge.
For example, I have not been able to start the engine. Opened the fuel, set fuel pump on, primed, set the mixture and rpms, set magnetos, cracked the throttle a bit and triggered the starter... And this just doesn't work :D
So I just have to read the manual to learn the correct procedure, I guess.

One thing that feels strange though, is the steering on ground. I'm having a hard time to make tight turns, and it almost feels as having the tailwheel lock ON or OFF not making any difference, which is troubling.
Ah well, the manual is waiting for me anyways...

I could just jump-start the plane with the tablet just to make a quick test flight with it, and it's still as enjoyable in VR as ever

well one key thing you must do is walk the prop through before starting - use the left mouse button to rotate the prop, not the mouse wheel.
this video has the start up process -
