• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Gator Mirage 2000-5 WiP....

The video is from 2005. The project began during the time of FS2002 but was then delayed to update it to FS2004 but not released. If you look at Cyril's website you will see that he is reworking his original project, the Gazelle. I share your hope we will see the Mirage finalized within the time frame of FSX.

Being French Canadian it is easy for me to follow the Mirage 2000-5 Saga among french digital designers on different french forums.

1.
Cyril Pioffet's FSX "2000-5" will probably never see the light of day.

2.
Most probable FSX "2000-5" single seater is the project actually
in development by topgun designer Rolland Laborie ( alias Rollus13 )
who produced a quite superb FS9 "2000 N" twin seater recently repackaged by Jonathan Hilaire ( alias Rooster ) and now adapted for
FSX too.

Recent news on Rolland's "2000-5" project are available at French Air Force web site at :

Repackage and repaints news on Jonanthan's projects are available
at :

http://roosterspaintfactory.blogspot.com/

3.
There is also a FSX "Rafale Marine" project quite advanced but still
in development actually designed by another frenchman callsigned
"Thor's Hammer".

Take a look at the two screens presented by the designer and dated

Both of these projects will be "freewares"
Let be patient and Good Day !
