gauges question

I was wondering... would be possible to build a gauge that allows to drop bombs with time intervals? For instance, a gauge that allows you:
- To choose which and how many bombs to drop.
- The time interval between bombs.

Another question... is there a buliding gauges tutorial anywhere?
