GC_Gladiator Armament

I read this on Wiki:Armament
In at least some Sea Gladiators, provision existed for a pair of Brownings to be fitted under the upper wings as well, bringing the total to six. Official service release trials were not completed before the Sea Gladiators were replaced by later types – but some upper wing Brownings may have been fitted in the field, in particular in Malta.

Is there a six gun Sea Gladiator out there?:jump:
I am shure it would make a great a/c for the MAW theatre.

Hi,

the problem is, that you cannot fix more weapons to the GC_Gladiators. I tried it again and again.
In the xdp you cannot add in the loadout section Hardpoint IDs. They don't work with the textures of this model.

More guns

Well you can add many more guns if you want. Remember a few years ago I made the gunpods for the Ju88? Well you could do the same for this aircraft and attach these "gunpods" to the hardpoints. The gunpods could be just a single point with a gun_grpxbx (sic) attached to it. Or you could make a browning gun, and make it part of the loadouts (actually you'll need to do this no matter what option you choose) and then you'll have your extra guns. Not hard at all just will take a little time, testing, and modifying the xdp that is all.

Of course for the right amount of money, booze, or ..... you could probably bribe someone to make these for you:kilroy:

It may not be possible with this aircraft though, for it to work the model must have hardpoints defined. I don't think the Gladiator has any. Try as Ted said using hardpoint 0 in the xdp, and see if the gun shows up anywhere on the model. If so, good, it is doable, if not you're out of luck.
