I just installed GEX from the disk .I went to update the software .Did the whole shabang. But it keeps giving me a error that I did not choose a product . Which I did . So I closed the screen thinking maybe after I restart the product I could update it . Now it says the product is already in use . I know that...its me . What do I need to do....

So far without the patch,it is very cool.
 
the GEX updates are not installed intuitively - they are a little problematic. I know that some of their people will disagree - but its not a simple installer - you have to follow detailed instructions very carefully

that being said, the best place for you to get un-fluxed - is to go to their forum and ask politely for assistance.

or read the FAQ's WRT the update/updates - it IS worth it to get GEX installed with the all the updates correctly if for nothing else than the radically improved night building lighting effects...but there are myriad improvements over default FSX beside those
