Nice stuff.
Is that a Balsa USA 1/3 scale Cub?

As far as the other stuff goes, they have different weight rules over in Europe than they do here in the states. That way they can build them a little bigger.

I like that Caudron racer. :) Too bad about the Staggerwing buying the farm, I'll bet the owner was in tears when that happened. Without the man in the video view you'd think it was a real plane crash.

Very nice RC planes. I saw a video of a large scale B-52 RC plane, complete with 8 jet engines. Amazing RC plane. Unfortunately, that video showed the Buff going nose done into the ground and burning. Not sure how much was spent to build that RC plane, but the 8 jet engines alone were someplace between 3 and 10 grand EACH. 24 to 80 thousand dollars worth of scale jet engines going up in flames....that's enough to ruin your day.

Real nice, but for the size and money..why not just make it full size and put a seat in it and fly it yourself?

When I see R/C models of this size it makes me wonder....how large does large need to be? As marvelous as it is to see them in such detailed, large scale,...something seems to get lost in the uniqueness of what a 'large' scale model should be. With some wingspans over 19 ft. and an engines rated over 260 horsepower,...gosh,...why did the modelers stop there and not construct a full size one? It's like they've gone over the threshold of conventional to semi-full size. Just my opinion.

Well for the $50K that guy spent on a GS B-52, one could have found a old cessna and put R/C controls and then you would have the biggist plane at the meet, and then get all the glory.
