What I meant was can a glider be an aircraft and be flown in CFS2 as

That's what he posted, they're aircraft for the player to fly...

Now, can you, the player be towed in a glider? No.
Can an AI Aircraft tow an AI glider? No.

There are gliders out there that are attached to the AI Tow Plane as weapons; but they have the glide scope of a rock when released, or should I say Dropped.

You, as the player have to start out at altitude or you can spawn AI gliders in missions.
