Gliders in the pacific

There is a glider in the library by Gary20, maybe someone can do a skin without invasion stripes, I feel a mission coming up!

I know gliders were used in the Burma operations but I don't know if we used them in the PTO. I saw some films of the 11th Airborne's assault on Corregidor but I don't think they used any gliders... just parachutes and they jumped real low.

The Marines were set up the same way the Army was with trained jumpers and gulider units.The problem was in the PTO it is hard on guliders and jumpers when the only place you have to land is in a canopy of trees.

Do not forget the Secound Chindit Operation in Burma in 1944.They used a lot of gliders during that Operation.

They where used by the Japanese and Russians as well!
