Global Layer problem?

Hi all,

I gave up on ETO for now, but I'll get it working in the future.

Today I copied and pasted the ETO BOB global layer and qclocations.xml so I can continue on with my BoB series of missions. I copied over the buildings, 46th Airfields, ACC_Airfields, Facilites, Objects, Buildings, and Landmarks folders.

They are the GSL.lib, GSL excel files, and qclocations.xml from era two. I got them from my friends computer.

But now, I've got another issue, when I go to select an airfield besides the default Fowlmere, Cambridge, Great Britain, instead of getting the airfield name, I get the airfield code instead, for example for Caffiers cafs26

Am I missing a file or is the global layer corrupt?

I've tried every possible solution thinkable, but I think I'm doing something wrong.

Again, any help is always greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Chris

Chris, check that you haven't got duplicate files in the install and that the ones you have got are named correctly.

Check also that the gsl.lib and global_layer.csv files are definately from the same era.

Other than that it sounds like you've done everything right.
You will need the cutscenes.xml as well by the way.
