To say I'm bitterly disappointed is a GROSS understatement.
 
Packers v. Bears...

It is going to be absolutely nuts at the grocery store. Lots of work to do. Sigh... :isadizzy:

This may just be a bigger game for Packer fans than the super bowl.
 
I just happened to be doing a lot of back and forth driving over this weekend, listening to sat radio, and the Jets fans were all saying the Jets would beat the Pats, that the Jets' defense were 3rd in the NFL overall, were fired up because Belichick ran the score up on them last time they played during the regular season, and Tom Brady would spend the afternoon on his back. I didn't believe it at the time, but that's exactly what happened. It didn't astonish me like the Saints losing to the Seahwaks, but I expected the Pats to win, which is why, I suppose, the teams go out and play the games. Mark Sanchez still seems young and unfinished to me, but the fact is he'll have started in an NFL Championship the first two years he played; and his team has now beaten a Payton Mannin team and a Tom Brady team in succession.

I really enjoy the playoffs more when I'm not rooting for one team or another; the Bills haven't been in the playoffs since dinosaurs walked the earth, and it's easier on my blood pressure. I'll root for the Bears for Panther.

The Packer/Bear game will make history for ratings.
I've heard that ticket prices as of this morning were starting at $500.

On a side note, I wonder if the field will be in any better shape Sunday?
Or, will they leave the footing bad to slow down the Packer D rush?
Not trying to start something... but you know.

Tom,....if I had my way about it,...I'd super glue various sized rocks and pebbles into the shoes of all Packer players,...and they'd have no option in removing them. :jump: (Just a mindless thought......)

Just read where the Players Association, who vote every two years on it, voted Soldier Field the forth worst playing field!
Even Urlacher says "it stinks".
And there has only been two games played on it since it was re-sodded.
