Wow! What a interesting aircraft? A flying car? Looks great - look forward to seeing more of this one. Thanks for your outstanding repaints Matt.

Like the look of that winged beasty, what and where please? Love the Jag paint, must have that one. How about a JPS style Lotus (black/gold) or a 911 Rally Martini scheme? or Lancia Stratos rally?

FS2004 Moller M400 Skycar. This package contains a simulation of the Moller M400 Skycar, and was developped in close cooperation with the Moller company. Besides all the usual animations you find in an aircraft addon, it contains a wealth of features and animations specific for this M400 Skycar, like: automated nacelles, ductvanes and folding wings; true VTOL operation; full virtual cockpit, with moving sidesticks, throttle lever and all needed instruments/switches to drive/fly this Skycar. Besides some general information on Moller's M400 Skycar, the readme includes extensive installation and flying instructions. By Rob Barendregt and Stephen Vernava.

as myself and Falcon 409'll tell you transiting TO VTOL is a challenge but well worth mastering, as you can land at your local strip if your road id jammed in by trees, fold the wings and drive home... beats walking or getting a bus and seperate car thats for sure :icon_lol:

cheers smoothie, off I go. Been wondering if the Wilco tilt rotor would be to big for Monaco, maybe I'm just looking for an excuse to buy it, lol.

Jamie

sweet, now I'll have to seriously consider the tilt, check with the boss first, lol. I think a nook with an underslung F1 car would be cool, I think only Schummie would have been able to insist they fly him in a new car ASAP, lol.

Jamie

You da man!! Always loved those old school rally colours, thanks. Are you gonna upload them?

I just tried the kite, I see what you mean about transition, not like a Harrier or anything else for that matter, took me a while to suss it. Very entertaining and a nice bit of variety to a seriously diverse sim. Actually turns out I had it in my install queue anyways, D'oh!! It could make quite a useful Special ops military kite.

On the subject of Spec. Ops, which Agusta 109 do you use? I saw you mention it in another thread. And do you know if there are any repaints of the SAS ones? Note the almost invisible serials, if you can find them. I think these are them from what I've found.

Jamie

22 Regiment use Civilian Birds with Army Crews.... if i recall, as no-one suspects a civilian chopper, but i'll try to find out through what channels i have lol:icon_lol:

There are 4 repaints packaged with the FSX Moller and they will work in the FS9 version as well. . .a Coast Guard, Police, Ambulance and basic black (for formal occasions, lol).

OK, for some one challenged, like me, I have a question. I apply some throttle and the thing shoots down the runway like a fixed wing. It will NOT hover. Cannot hover. Acts like a fixed wing. Read the "read me". Any help would surely be appreciated. :isadizzy:

Sometimes I feel sharp as a bowling ball and just as dense.

on the dash there is a gauge with "ALT", "SPD" and "PTCH" then some markings for degrees of fan rotation and at the bottom are four boxes. The bottom left box has some letters on it "F" for flight config (this is conventional flight, like any normal aircraft). . ."C" is the Car configuration, so you can drive around, pick up some groceries, etc. . . .one is "V" and this is for the VTOL configuration. The other letter, "T" is a test configuration, pay no attention to that one. The one you want to click on is the "V". Also, be sure the "Park" light is lit as well, seems like there was something about it having to be in park prior to going to VTOL.

Hope that answers your question. By the way, I believe Rob did an extensive explanation of all this in the readme.

Yupper-doo. Got the part about "Test", "Flight", "Car", and "Vtol". Will try putting in "Park" prior to switching to "VTOL" from "Test". What is the little box to the right that has an "L" (or not) in it? At least that is what I thought I saw. It's late and the wife demands to use the alpha rig for emailing her friends. Read-- no sim on this 1600 E Machine with onboard graphics. Will have to check when possible.

the little L is the wing lock, this has to be on in flight and de activated below 40kts when V mode kicks back in if selected, otherwise it stays lit meaning you're a go for conventional landing.

Hey Smoothie,
Do ya think a Repaint based on your PILSNER Storch paint would be doable?

Falcon: Thanks for the HU on the FX repaints - they are great!!!

Ed

JDT the Regiment uses them 4 as main aircraft, all 4 aircraft belong to 8 flight Army Air Corps, 2 of them were 'acquired' in 1982 from a certain couple of islands.... Registration ZE410 thru to ZE413, all based at Netheravon but never permeanently there, these A109's are UK usage only, overseas they settle for whatever is going... i'll start repainting them now, then they can sit at my FS9 Credenhill :) sorry can't release that don't want to be black-marked :) :icon_lol:

oh and this is the Agusta: A109

Thanks for the link, downloading now.

Also, thanks for the info, gonna load up FS and see if there's a Netheravon in there. BTW, wasn't actually looking for you to repaint the 109, more needed directed to a nice version, Would of repainted them myself in time, many thanks.
